Fellows work closely with ApolloMD and Wellstar leadership while concurrently completing an Executive MBA at Kennesaw State, Georgia State, or the University of Georgia.

The administrative fellow will join the emergency department leadership team, receive mentorship from the Fellowship Program Director and ED Medical Directors, and develop toward a future role as Assistant Medical Director.

The fellowship includes enrollment in an Executive MBA program through Kennesaw State University, Georgia State University, or the University of Georgia, as well as participation in the Wellstar Physician Leadership Academy during the second year. Fellows also take part in national and organizational conferences, including the ACEP Scientific Assembly (with involvement in recruitment and interviews during year two), the ACEP ED Directors Academy, the ACEP Leadership and Advocacy Conference, and the ApolloMD Leadership Conference.

Corporate Operations/Management:

The administrative fellow will serve as an active part of the ED leadership team, working closely under the mentorship of the Program Director and Medical Directors, with the goal of developing into an Assistant Medical Director role.

Research:

The fellow will design and complete a focused quality improvement research project in their chosen area of administrative interest.

Final Project:
