Every year, Wellstar Kennestone Emergency Department is one of the busiest EDs in the country. We are a community-based 3 year EM residency program located outside of Atlanta in Marietta, Georgia. With volumes of 140,000 patients per year and increasing, our residents see high volume and acuity, and get fantastic procedural opportunities. Our didactics are world class, and we boast a brand-new high tech simulation center to practice both common and practice rare or difficult procedures. Outside of the hospital, our residents enjoy the nature of North Georgia as well as the amazing food, music, and festivals of Atlanta.
